< BACK TO ABOUT Dirk Pilat Senior Research Fellow Innovation and Green Transition Dirk Pilat is senior research fellow at the Lisbon Council. An economist focused on innovation, productivity and the green transition, he previously worked in various roles at the Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development, lastly as deputy director for science, technology and innovation. He is also affiliated with The Productivity Institute in the United Kingdom and the Valencia Institute of Economic Research. He holds a Ph.D from the University of Groningen.
