< BACK TO ABOUT Filippo Menga Researcher Filippo Menga is a researcher at the Lisbon Council and associate professor of geography at the University of Bergamo. As a prolific scholar, Dr Menga has authored numerous articles on geography and political ecology in top-tier international journals and he serves as editor-in-chief of Political Geography — the flagship journal of political geography. His recent publications include Thirst published by Verso Books and Water in Central Asia published by Routledge. He has also coedited Political Geography in Practice: Theories, Approaches and Methodologies published by Palgrave and Water, Technology and the Nation-State published by Earthscan. With expertise in global issues related to water, sustainability and political geography, Dr Menga is a visiting research fellow at the University of Reading.
