Jeff Risom
Senior Fellow
Jeff Risom is senior fellow at the Lisbon Council with a focus on innovative policy, research and leadership initiatives at the intersection of urban design, sustainability and public-sector transformation. For more than 20 years, he served as partner and chief innovation officer at Gehl, a Copenhagen-based urban design and research consultancy. Mr Risom has led major interdisciplinary transformation projects across more than 30 cities, including for Times Square in New York City and Market Street in San Francisco. He holds a master’s degree in city design and social science from the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE ) and a bachelor’s degree in architectural engineering from the University of Colorado Boulder.
