Gian Marco Moisé

Gian Marco Moisé is a researcher at the Lisbon Council. He is a political scientist and consultant specialising in informal governance, corruption and extractive industries. Previously, he worked with the European Endowment for Democracy, supporting civil society in the Eastern Partnership and advancing democratic development across several countries. Dr Moisé is also a researcher for Osservatorio Balcani e Caucaso Transeuropa (OBCT), served as co-editor of the third volume of the Global Encyclopaedia of Informality and conducted extensive field research on the oil sector in Kazakhstan, culminating in the publication of The House Always Wins.
