Luis Cilimingras

Senior Fellow

Luis Cilimingras is a senior fellow at the Lisbon Council. With extensive experience at the intersection of sustainability, innovation and technology, he supports organisations in scaling innovative solutions to accelerate the transition to a regenerative, net-zero future. As a partner and managing director at global innovation company IDEO, Mr Cilimingras led the foundation of its Climate and Sustainability practice, spearheading the integration of human-centered innovation into sustainability strategies across sectors like energy, mobility and technology while collaborating closely with Fortune 500 companies and startups to guide C-level executives and their teams. He held leadership roles at Fiat Group where he oversaw digital innovation, including the launch of eco:Drive — a software now installed in millions of vehicles to reduce CO2 emissions. Mr Cilimingras holds a master’s degree in industrial engineering from Politecnico di Torino and Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya.
