The Lisbon Council launches Co-Creation at Scale: How Service Design, Living Labs and Innovation Networks Help Public Servants Deliver Better Services – and How Those Services Can Be Made Sustainable, a new policy brief that explores best practice cases and makes policy recommendations for bringing co-creation to scale. The authors Charlotte van Ooijen, senior research fellow and Francesco Mureddu, director at the Lisbon Council, analyse 56 case studies in 11 countries and propose a four-point programme for making co-creation long-term and sustainable. The policy brief forms part of and is based on research data gathered by the Understanding Value Co-Creation in Public Services for Transforming European Public Administrations (Co-VAL), a 12-member consortium co-funded by the European Union.
