The Lisbon Council launches Science Salon: A Deep Dive on the Intersection of Artificial Intelligence and Scientific Discovery. The first two sessions, characteristically, took place on the road, as it were, in Berlin and Amsterdam, with high-level participants coming together to exchange on the enormous potential of artificial intelligence to unlock new and exciting pistes in human health, energy consumption and other important fields.
The new European Commission needs a new vision for Europe’s digital infrastructure. Konstantinos Komaitis, senior researcher and non-resident fellow at the Lisbon Council, produced It’s Time to Move On – a fascinating look at how the new European Commission should escape old ideas about innovation and investment and embrace a fresh new vision for the future of Europe’s digital infrastructure.
