The Forum launches new research on Welfare Reform in Post-COVID-19 Europe: New Thinking for a Post-Crisis World, a new blogpost by Elina Lepomäki, member of the Parliament of Finland, and Prof Enzo Weber, chair of empirical economics at the University of Regensburg and head of forecasts and macroeconomic analyses at the Institute for Employment Research (IAB) at the Federal Employment Agency in Germany. The authors take a close look at how the European welfare system has performed throughout the pandemic and offer proposals for turning the lessons learned into better lives for Europeans and citizens everywhere.
